Mike is a Director and Senior Executive who champions constructive, outcome-focused organisational cultures that have clear lines of accountability, efficient processes, and a strong appetite for workplace safety.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Power) and Master of Business Administration as well as being a Fellow of Engineers Australia and past Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has more than 38 years’ experience in the electricity industry having held senior executive roles across a diverse range of portfolios in the generation, transmission and distribution power sectors.

Mike is currently a Director of the Southern Waste Solutions Board having been appointed in 2020 and was formerly a non-executive director of the Australian Power Institute. He was Managing Director and owner of Hunnibell Consulting for eight years, providing engineering advice, asset management, project management, change management and organisational design services predominantly to the utilities sector.
